Sept.  3, 2014
The first meeting of the Real World Design Challenge team will be this Thursday, Sept 4th at 2pm in room 146. Any high school student can join the team.  Please see Mr. Hanson or Mrs. Parker for more information.
 
The PSAT will be offered on Wednesday, October 15th. All sophomores are pre-registered, are free, and WILL take the test. Juniors should register in Mrs. Delano’s office, third floor Guidance, in order to get the practice test booklet. The cost is $20 with a reduction for students on the Free/Reduced lunch list.
 
There will be a Newspaper Club meeting immediately after school on Thursday, Sept 4th in room 239. New artists, photographers, writers and bloggers are all welcome!

Seeking Hall of Fame Nominations

Marlborough High School is seeking nominations for induction into the 2014 MHS Athletic Hall of Fame. Inductees will be announced at halftime of the Thanksgiving Day football game on Nov. 27 at Kelleher Field, with the induction/award banquet to follow at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at the Holiday Inn. Nominations and supporting documentation should be sent to: MHS Athletic Director Jeff Rudzinsky, Marlborough High School, 431 Bolton St., Marlborough, MA 01752. Deadline to receive nominations is Sept. 15, 2014.

On Friday, Sept. 20, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) released its 2013 information about school accountability, how our school is performing relative to other schools, and the progress our school is making toward narrowing proficiency gaps for different groups of students.
